Fun characters?

Does anyone have recommendations for movies with fun characters? By that I mean characters that are not super serious or depressing just moping about the entire movie. I watched The Dark and The Wicked yesterday and the trend of having super serious depressed characters seems to be popular, I've also seen this in Hereditary, Midsommar, Halloween remakes. After watching that movie I watched Mr Right with Sam Rockwell and it was a refreshing change to see fun charismatic lead actor and actress. I know that's not a horror movie but I do remember one horror movie I loved that was just really fun 'You Might Be The Killer' I just remember really enjoying that movie. Or other movies I loved that still had serious moments but were still fun 'Freddy vs Jason' 'Drag Me To Hell' 'Final Destination movies' 'Trick R Treat'. I feel like alot of those depressing horror movies have lost the fun aspect of watching a movie, I know everyone has different taste and I don't mind a really serious movie occasionally but I also like watching movies to get away from everyday problems. 'Heretic' might have had some disappointing things towards the end but I did like they tried to add some humorous moments in an otherwise serious story.
