Dr. House headsculpt

practicing my painting on a Dr. House(Hugh Laurie) recast headsculpt. I know the show has been over a long time and all the customs have been done. But I love the character so much I want him.

this is the first time I've painted a custom before. I messed up royally on the beard but got the flesh tone and hair color right.

I'm going to probably strip the paint and try again. the headsculpt material I don't know what it is but it isn't resin. probably why the paint doesn't look lifelike.

also, there's a resin unpainted headsculpt on eBay I'll probably snag and use that one instead.

this hobby is getting fun!
