Stoicks death

Ok I’m curious about something I’m looking around and alot of people are blaming hiccup for stoicks death because hiccup tried seeing good in drago just trying to be a nice guy trying to help drago see good in himself but then drago had his alpha take control of toothless to kill hiccup for nothing and stoick saved his son and let himself die why is it hiccups fault I’d blame it on drago for being a psychotic bastard and being a childish piece of shit crying over a wound that happened years ago why couldn’t drago just move on with his life just realize dragons weren’t evil trying to takeover the world enjoy killing people and dragons like drago should be blamed for stoicks death not toothless nor hiccup anybody wanna explain this cause I’m genuinely confused why people blame hiccup for stoicks death when it should be blamed on drago
