A genie offers you $5,000,000, but you swap lives with a random person for 30 days, with no way to reverse it until the month is over. Do you accept?
A genie appears before you and offers you $5,000,000 in cash. It sounds good but there’s a catch: To receive the money, you must agree to swap lives with a random person for 30 days. This person could be anyone, a homeless person, your mom, Donald Trump, or LeBron James
Here are the rules:
- The swap is completely random. You’ll wake up in the body of someone else, and they’ll wake up in yours.
- For 30 days, you live their life—take their job, navigate their personal relationships, handle their responsibilities, and deal with whatever struggles they face. You can do whatever you want.
- However, they now have control over your life. They can do whatever they want with your body, your time, and your choices. They may make decisions that affect your future, take risks, or even cause problems for you when you return.
- You cannot reverse the swap until the 30 days are up.
- If you die in their body, you’re permanently dead. The swap cannot be reversed, and you’ll never return to your life.
- If they die in your body during the swap, you’re dead when the 30 days are over. The moment you switch back, your life will be gone.
After the 30 days, you’ll return to your normal life, and the genie will hand over $5,000,000.
Do you accept?
