So done with rookies...

Why do people drive like animals?

I bought the game a week ago having about 40 race and have REALLY been trying, but some players are just insane.

I'm participating in the Mazda Cup, which I love, but at every start, someone crashes in the first corner and takes out a few others. And if you manage to get past that, someone slower will likely perform a pit maneuver to keep you from getting ahead. Every time I take evasive action, expecting mistakes and leaving space, I end up getting rammed from behind.

It feels like it's easier to ram the guy in front out of the corner than risk being yeeted by the person behind. I wasn't expecting perfect sportsmanship, but this is turning into a demolition derby. What can I do? Even a gentle tap in the corner sends you flying, ending your race, while the offender only gets a minor penalty. Some players have perfected this tactic, targeting specific corners to push you off.

I feel like I have to start doing that too because it seems to be the meta now.

And don't get me wrong... I understand people make mistakes and they are new. But a lot of the time, it feels intentional or just plain malicious :(

My iRacing is in shables, my safety score is worse that it ever was.

Sorry, had to get this out of my chest....
