Amount afk'd is not amount dropped?

I'm unsure if this is a bug but I logged on to see my bubo farmed 12M logs while AFK. I have ram pet so I can pick up, empty into my chest and repeat until all are gone so I did that and after all was collected only 7M appeared in my chest?
