Non-designer tried to design 😬
It’s me. I’m the non-designer.
Hubby and I recently built an addition onto our home, opening up our first floor (excuse the construction dust and tools everywhere) to include a dining room and larger kitchen. I would’ve loved to have hired a designer to help with colors…but it wasn’t in the budget. The floors were a hand-me-down. The table was a cool Facebook marketplace find…
I thought I was on the right track with what I wanted…but I feel like I’m losing my way. I was going for an Anthroliving feel, because I love vintage and thrifting. However, my hubby is very into industrial and minimalism…so I was trying to balance the two. I think…😂😅
This whole floor is very open. However, the room that bothers me the most right now is the living room. The rugs are Ruggables and I’m open to swapping them out. The couch is an ikea, so I can change the cover color. I just cannot figure out how to bring this all together.
Any direction at this point is so appreciated. A color palette…tips on where to start..
