Do you have to calorie deficit/restric to lose weight with 16:8 IF?

I started the fast on the 06.01.25 and haven't lost any real weight, just a couble of pounds. I reduced my calories last week to 1500, which doesn't feel enough, and is kind of making me miserable, as I'd prefer to eat more. Still no real weight loss. When I ate normally, three emals a day 2000 calories aday, I used to lose weight really easily. Im wondering what Im doing wrong? As an aside, my clothes do feel looser.
