I'm about tired

I am 19, extraverted when need be with a damn good job history for my age. I've had 5 interviews in the past week; heard nothing from no one. I call back and get "we aren't really hiring til spring anyway/we're overstaffed/etc" WHY INTERVIEW ME THEN?

I have full availability and reliable transport. I'm not looking for full or part time; I'll take either. Ill take 5 hours or 50. Fuck, I'll change my appearance a bit if need be!

I'm not even worried about pay right now; I just need a few hundred bucks to pay for a certification for my career and fixing my car and I'll stay until I get there, but I'm not telling them that obviously. Ill take $10 an hour or more. I'm so lost on what I'm doing wrong here?
