Where to stay after Slea Head drive?

Hello! So I’m redoing a bit of my itinerary - originally I was going to do the Ring of Kerry from Killarney, stay in Glenbeigh, and then head back to Killarney the next day. However, I’m realizing most of what I want to see on the Ring of Kerry is really just in the National Park, and Slea Head looks like a much more scenic route and fitting more what I’m after in a drive.

I’m picking up my rental car in Killarney at 10am, planning to go straight to Dingle and then spend the whole day really taking my time with Slea Head. The next day, I’d tackle the National Park before dropping the car back off in Killarney by 4pm.

All that said, where would you recommend staying? Should I spend the night in Dingle or head back to Killarney?

As an aside - how is Conor Pass to drive? This will be my first time driving on the left side of the road and I’m confident, but I also don’t want to end up anywhere that is generally considered “hard” to navigate. Thanks!!
