Website filtering

I'm the father of 4 children ages range from 2-12, additionally, we are going to be fostering a child soon. All of my children have/will have gaming computers and right now we have 2 in the kitchen and 2 in the living room. I'll be adding another when the foster child comes to the house. Additionally, we have a few laptops around the house as well.

We want to move our 12 year olds computer into his bedroom, but I'm concerned about the sites that he visits and I would like some way to monitor the site and block sites for porn etc. I'm looking for a reasonable priced software that I'll be able to install on all the kids computers and our laptops that can send me alerts and reports on what they are visiting. What software do you recommend? I've tried Activtrak, but they are wanting $10 per computer and with all the computers we have it would be a small fortune.
