Experience as to First Meet-up
Had the most incredible experience meeting up with these amazing strangers today! We connected online through our beloved r/jaipur server on reddit and decided to take the plunge and meet in person. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but I'm so glad we did. We talked in great detail, grabbed coffee, played among us and made new friends. It's amazing how quickly you can bond with people when you have shared interests. Can't wait to do it again soon!
One of the things I loved most about this meetup was the diversity of people who attended. We had lawyers, engineers, traders, social workers, aspirants, job seekers, and a variety of people with interesting jobs and everyone had a unique perspective to life. We also met with another book club and chilled with them. It was fascinating to hear about everyone's experiences and learn from each other. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to connect with such a diverse group of individuals. It was not a surprise to discover how many shared hobbies and interests we had. We all love movies, books, gaming, outdoor sports and we spent a lot of time talking about our life and interest. It's so much fun to connect with people who share your passions.
One of the most surprising things about meeting these strangers in person was how easy it was to open up and share our lives with each other. We talked about our dreams, our fears, and our hopes for the future. It was incredibly refreshing to connect with people on such a deep level and to realize that we all have so much in common. Talking about life with strangers can be a powerful experience. Most importantly there were no creeps, no salesman, no pyramid scheme. Everyone was like minded with an age group of 19-30.
We're already planning our next meetup and have created a Discord group to stay in touch and coordinate future events. If you're interested in joining, please let us know! I'm so excited to see what the future holds for this amazing community.
