Quest for the Best burger.
I am a chef that has moved back home, and I am on the hunt for KCMOs best burger. My limits are no more south than Grandview, east of Independence, north of liberty, west of the state line. I'm looking to document this endeavor via social media, but wanted to come here for some recommendations. Places that have been a staple for me groeing up are town topic, LC's, and Hayes hamburgers. I'm always happy to go back there, and eat and record. However, this city has changed so much in the last 10 years. I'll be grading on a scale with everything, including the price, to the bun, and even the fries (nothing is more frustrating than getting a great burger, then cold, bland, rubbery fries).
I'm pretty experienced in the burger world, as I ran a couple of food trucks one focusing on a smash burger. I was thinking that I should also seperate into two categories. since I think they are vastly different, and when someone asks who has the best, I have to get clarification smashed or thick. If you prefer a thick burger, I wouldn't dare send you in the direction of town topic, and vice-versa. Thanks in advance!
