Never ending coat battles!
It's more than just mumbling and grumbling about putting a coat on. It's leading to an all-consuming hatred of school (because they make him put on his coat for recess).
We live somewhere where in the fall the temperature and wind can fluctuate wildly, so we feel we have to send a coat into school. We're somewhat lenient at home about coats at home when we can keep an eye on him and have the coat ready if he really needs it. But at school I think they just make all the kids put on their coats to go outside when it's cold.
Are there any other parents with extremely coat-resistant kids? How are you handling it?
