Sideloading KFX books, Goodreads on device broken

Hello, I've been converting to mobi for a long time, using the Quality Check plugin to make sure goodreads integration on the Kindle works well for me for marking as reading and done etc. I switched to KFX recently, and while I'm enjoying it, the Quality Check plugin doesn't support KFX it seems. I have the Kindle ASIN in the metadata, but it doesn't seem to work with any books on device. I tried the Goodreads plugin in Calibre but it doesn't seem to help.

Am I missing something obvious?
