Buying a kindle soon!

Hello! I’ve decided to treat myself to a kindle shortly. I currently use the app on my phone to read. Is there much of a difference between the regular kindle and the kindle paperwhite? Worth the price jump? Any recommendations or reviews are helpful! Thanks!
