Why are we okay with a re-tool?

Been a Kings fan my whole life and all I ever saw prior to the beam team era was fans complaining about the organization never committing to a full rebuild. I feel as a fan base we are all of a sudden okay with a retool although that is the exact reason why we have been the laughingstock of the league for the last 17+ years.

It feels like coping with the idea that Monk and Sabonis can lead us to a PLAY-IN. I guess I am just frustrated that we as a fanbase have been begging to get some wing depth considering we have 4 players on our roster over 6’9 and none of them are real rim protectors. Just blow it up please if we are going to get rid of Fox.
