So I was actually shocked when Vinoth got the chance to direct Vijay after the Kamal project got shelved lol. Yeah regarding my title, Based on recent events I'm looking at a trend here.

So let's go back to the viswasam vs Petta time. Viswasam did good in TN, if I'm not mistaken collected more than petta. Then rajini did a movie with Siva, then the rest is history.

Now fast forward to the current time line. Vinoths last film was thunivu, medicore at least. Thunivu vs Varisu happened, and I think it was Ajith's highest grosser I believe. Now Vijay na is doing a movie with vinoth, by the news that we are getting it might be an Annathe.
