FDA naming kratom as controlled substance?

I just saw on the news that the FDA is "looking to put kratom on the controlled substances list".

This scares me because it not only helps me with my pain, but also keeps me from catching viruses. I haven't had a cough in 6 years and 2 months.

Have you guys heard of this? When will it happen, and it will be nation-wide?
