I feel mislead
First off, I posted a few times about equipment and the help y’all have given me has been amazing. This is probably to most helpful and positive thread I’ve been apart of.
Now here’s my conundrum. My son started lacrosse last week (first practice). All of his gear finally arrived today (thank y’all again). We bought all used equipment and we saved a ton of money but it’s still pricey once added all up. The registration for his age group (2U) was $150. They made it seem like all age groups would be getting uniforms and playing games throughout the season. I found out today that his age group doesn’t have enough kids and therefore they will only be practicing and that’s normal for his age group. I feel I spent a lot of money for just practicing twice a week. Am I overeacting here or is this in fact normal for the age? One part of me is glad that my weekends won’t be taken up but the other part of me feels he is missing out on the “team sport” of it. Idk what to think, just kind of caught off guard.
