At what rank is it not worth it?

I'm not sure if this post will be removed or not, but I'm currently making my list of schools that I want to apply for this summer.
GPA: 3.9 | LSAT: 168 (Retaking in June) | 3 Years of work experience| nURM

I'm in Canada, set on going to school in the US so I can practice BL. I understand that outstanding circumstances exist, but based on your personal experiences or stories, what ranking is the lowest I should aim for on usnews (if there's a more reputable site, please suggest). As my knowledge of the US is quite limited, external factors as the city, people, culture don't matter as much as school reputation, opportunities, and job prospects do at the current moment.

I'm not trying to condemn lower ranked schools in any way, I just want to realistically create my school list not from YHS, but bottom up.

Edit: I prioritize scholarships over BL potential, but without casting BL completely aside as an improbability.
