Timing

So I thought I was time constraint to applying this cycle with using VR&E benefits through the VA. I got approved to be able to apply next cycle and have a year break and keep my benefits.

Is it worth still applying to the only two schools I’ve had my eye on or should I just wait until next cycle and do better on lsat and have more chance of acceptance?

I will be volunteering at the school in my area next year if I take off the year. Will the volunteer work be a help for application?
