Mobile home park is threatening to evict my grandma over parking.
My grandma who just recently had a stroke often has grandkids come visit her. They park in a small cul-de-sac area next to the mobile home. It is not a red zone like some of the other curbs. The new property manager takes pictures of the car and posted a warning of eviction on her door because of this. Saying if she doesn’t comply within 7 days they will begin eviction proceedings. There is no open guest parking here ever. As far as I know there is over 150 houses and less than 8 guest spots. They are always full and she is at the top of a long hill so there is no where else to park without hiking up several hills. Is there anything we can do to combat this? She needs her grandkids to come visit her and it’s becoming increasingly stressful for her. The manager cited the California civil code 789.56(d) saying a residency may be terminated for failure to comply with reasonable rule and regulation of the park, but I’d argue having no parking for her family who visits her and helps her during this time is unreasonable.
