State of powered up

Wanted to motorize some of my builds and stumbled on finding a proper motorization simply due to the fact that on Lego.com every powers up motor is out of stock or already a vintage product.

For my trains I have two BuWizz 3.0 battery boxes and i want to use them regularly- not only during Christmas when I usually run my trains. Therefore I plan to motorize my rollercoaster and other stuff with powered up L or M motors. However, everywhere (Germany) they are out of stock.

Long story short and my question: why do I struggle to find motors? Are there any known plans from LEGO to renew the powered up lineup?
