A positive report

This sub has helped me a lot, so thought I would return the favor.

I (female, 30s), started lexapro back in February and started seeing results in a about a week. Anxiety and OCD only improved from there. About a month ago, I started having set backs, so increased my dose. Things are good again.

I have had minimal side effects. Just some tiredness at the beginning, but not unmanageable.

Libido and ability to "get off" has not been affected. Intimacy in my marriage has improved since I am happier and have significantly reduced anxiety.

I have lost weight due to having motivation to exercise and eat better. About 15 lbs. From 165 to 150.

Vision is clearer and I feel more present.

I no longer look for the "next best thing" to make me happy. I am happy living in the moment.

I still feel all emotions, but happiness is stronger. I still feel sadness, but I'm able to just let it go quicker and move on. I can still cry when watching a sad movie.

Hoping this post inspires people that lexapro does work wonders for many people without all the side effects you often see on this sub.
