What time do you take the medication?

Hello all!

I hope you are all well. I was on Lexapro 10 mg back in March, and it changed my life, but due to the weight gain, my doctor switched me to Prozac.

At first, the medication was helping, but I noticed I was anxious more often, and eventually, it was not helping. I was on 20 mg and increased to 40 mg and had a bad reaction.

So, at the end of last month, I switched back to Lexapro 10 mg and have been on it for three weeks now. I have been up and down. I have felt anxious here and there. I do have a trigger for my anxiety, and at times, I just feel anxious. I do therapy and more. Also, I am now on weight loss medication and nervous about starting it.

I want to know what time people take Lexapro? I take it at 2 PM or a little late because in the morning, when I take it, I am grumpy and sleepy.

So I would like to know what time you take it in the day and when the medication starts kicking in for you?

I am thinking about asking my doctor to go up a dosage to 15 mg. But I am scared after my reaction to the Prozac increase.
