Lightcannon is Growing on me for real

Hey fellow Lightcannon Shippers! Hope the beginning of your new year was great mine was awesome.

So I'm a Heterosexual man in my mid Twenties in a committed relationship with a women I got to say, Lightcannon is really growing on me.

I've written over 100 fan fiction pieces, ships and not. I'm a hetero man so I had to do alot of research in regards to health WLW and Same Sex relationship dynamics and dare I say, Lux/Jinx has got the easiest couple I've tried to write for. They hit alot of healthy point for a relationship. I'm not going to mention other ships directly to prevent squabbles in the comments but the relationship between Lux and Jinx to write around is so damn organic and natural. I'm regards to other ships in the Fandom, I've had to jump through alot of hoops or ignore certain narrative character development to get the relationship going or make it seem organic. With other ships , I've written a few fan fictions in the "partner can fix her" category and It's like pulling teeth sometimes. Dealing with her Trauma and having it feel organic and not forced is so damn hard.

The one thing I love about this ship is that after doing some research, I barely had to write/ make art where I had to have them physically intimate. This relationship dynamic feels so natural where I never had to write it in because their relationship was about emotional connection and friendship rather than reconciliation. It's pretty cute. I love my girlfriend but I find it adorable alot of same sex relationships can be so emotionally/ intimate without the need for physical intimacy. I love this ship cause I can drop Lux any place in the story and it feels organic and fun and they feel right for eachother, if don't know why..

Every ship is cool but Lightcannon feels special because the relationship can just hit the ground running without having to "have her wait to their ready" . Well we will see how the ship goes but I love how unproblematic the two are. I even tried to make a love triangle with the two and couldn't finish it because I felt like I was just adding drama to add drama lmao. They just fewl so grounded.
