Dissuasion

I'm a significant member of one local and one online lightsaber club-- and my family and local friends don't "get it".

Just today, I'm relaying ideas to my mother about how I want to grow the social media audience and bring in new students, but it's difficult with young children who occupy 85% of my home time. My mother says "well maybe this isn't the right fit".

It's been my passion for 20+ years, and I've got a reliable network of passionate individuals also working to grow the hobby into a second job.

Do you ever get pushback from your peers? How to you carve time for yourself?

Or are lightsabers just toys and memento to you? I'm open to hearing all stories. Thanks and MTFBWY.
