Upgrade thoughts - before new tariffs

Like many, I am considering some upgrades before the tariffs.

I run a 7600 (non-x) and a rx6750. I am considering going to a 9700x and a 7800xt. I use my computer for general productivity, dark table, and I play steam games ranging from hades, farthest frontier, elden ring, etc. I used to play a bunch of MMORPG and if I ever have time, I'd love to get back into it.

Would I get enough performance boost to make it worth it to buy it out of tarriff fear? I am not feeling any issues in my current setup and were this fear not happening, I wouldn't be considering upgrading.

It had been my plan to wait until the next socket and then upgrade to whatever was considered the best value gamer Am5 cpu at the time and a gpu to match.
