Weight milestone!
I’ve been on Saxenda for 7 weeks and I have officially hit sub-100 kilos!! The last time I weighed under 100 was probably 10 years ago. I’m just so pleased and motivated.
Diet wise, I don’t really control the type of food I eat, but I do eat just half or less of what I usually would. This way, I don’t feel deprived. But I couldn’t have done that without Sax!
And I finally found a physical activity that I enjoy so much - tennis! All these things just made a perfect blend for me. Feels like the mindset I had when I first started was correct - use Sax as an enabler for the things I need to do like muting food noise and managing my cravings and hunger pangs, then eventually lose weight such that physical activity becomes enjoyable and not taxing or embarrassing. Remember - Sax can’t do it alone!
As a side note, I’m also on my 4th week of quitting vape (replaced cigarettes 5 years ago). A nice fringe benefit!
I’m currently down 8 kilos / 18 pounds, on my way to losing 25 kilos total. 8 kilos in 7 weeks?? Crazy!!
