Thinking of caving

I have been searching for used Lovevery kits and I found a lead near me but she is no longer responding so I am thinking of just buying the kits full price. Few questions:

1) my baby recently turned 6 months old and lovevery is recommending that I start her at the 5-6 month kit. Seems reasonable, I already have similar socks though and I feel like I can buy some of those toys individually so I am contemplating waiting until 7 months. But maybe I am overthinking it and I spend WAY too much time/energy shopping for baby gear and toys for her. What age did you think Lovevery started to be really worth it?

2) what is the best way to get discounts on lovevery kits? Any tricks out there? Unfortunately, finding used kits to purchase hasn’t been easy.

***Some of you have mentioned the Black Friday deal. Can I use that if I am already a subscriber? I am thinking of just buying the 5-6 month box with an ambassador code and then using the Black Friday deal to buy a subscription for more boxes.

3) I would love for her to engage in more safe screen-free independent play/exploration. We aim to be a Zero screen time family. I do the chores with narration but I could be better about that. I let her play independently on play mats but she doesn’t crawl yet which is good and bad because I think she gets frustrated. I think it’s okay for her to be “bored” (aka not constantly entertained) but sometimes but her whining can be really triggering. (She is also teething and testing out her vocal cords so I know it’s some of that too.). I would love to hire someone to help watch her but right now it’s just me and some days are a little hard even though I think she is a good baby. I am open to all suggestions/advice/recommendations.
