Is there something wrong with my MacBook Pro?

I have a MacBook Pro from 2016, it runs fine but recently I had it out in public and someone mentioned the fans were really loud. Like I mentioned, it runs fine and has no lag but I guess it's just loud??? What is this an indicator of? It's probably never had its ventilation cleaned so I'm thinking that's the reason...

Just want to know if this is some big issue that could lead to the death of my computer since I obviously need it for work. Thanks!
