Best wide screen for Mac Mini?

I am confused with so many options. What are the best ones available out there right now? I am looking at the Odyssey G8 oe G9 but I read they both have issues with connectivity and refresh rate. Is there anything good that works out of the box without finding fixes? LG? Dell?

I use it mainly for browser work. But also occasional gaming.
