Defining 'Micro' vs. 'Macro' in Our Community

Hey everyone,

I discovered this subreddit not too long ago, and it's been awesome to read and share ideas with you all. There are clearly some incredibly knowledgeable people here, and it's great to see the exchange of techniques and experiences.

That being said, I’ve noticed a bit of a trend that I wanted to address. It feels like some folks are trying to take advantage of the community by asking for free advice without contributing much themselves. For instance, I’ve seen posts from complete beginners asking for step-by-step help or even for people to essentially design their entire setup for them.

On top of that, I think we need a clearer distinction between "micro" and "macro" operations. From my perspective, anything under 1,000 sq. ft. of canopy (about 60 flowering light) should be considered "micro." It might be helpful for the community to have a general consensus on this so we can better categorize discussions and keep the focus sharp.

What’s your take on this?
