How do I beat depths?

Title.

Been stuck for a couple months now, I have tried everything, all the meta combinations, got some silly runs where no enemies would be spawning in sight due to the sheer strength of the build and yet when the humanoids come (especially the big ones) they take no damage or I can barely dispatch them until there's too many.

Any advice would be extremely helpful thanks.
