Do they investigate the report?

Our team lost. BAD. And after a few words from the winning team were tossed our direction it occurs to one of our teammates to just blame our tank for throwing. I know our tank personally and she played the game through til the end. Will the report get investigated or are they just going to believe the people reported her?
