No Fuel Injector Seals?

Has anybody experienced there car not having injector seals? A few days ago at the shop the mechanic pulled out my injectors and I wanted to check them put. Come to find out the had no seals what so ever, not stock, not corksport, nothing. Has anybody ever been through this?
