Women neck hair help!!

This is my neck (37f) after plucking and shaving the night before. I’ve always had dark thick hair under arms and legs. But when I was pregnant with my last (4th child who is now 4), the dark hairs started to show up on my chin. I’d pluck them out and think nothing of it. Then they slowly moved down onto my neck. More and more of them. I started shaving them. Which obviously irritates everything and I’ve used razor burn creams, ingrown hair exfoliate, I’ve tried waxing (not professionally), tried creams like Nair and it always breaks me out and gives me a chemical burn. My gyno did bloodwork last year and it was all good. Everything online talks about this being common with PCOS. But I have never had this mentioned to me and if it helps information wise I’ve had 4 healthy children and no fertility problems. This year the dr wrote me a prescription for Spironolactone. He said it was a diuretic but could possibly help. (Which I haven’t taken yet because I’m a little worried). He also mentioned laser treatment. I’ve purchased an IPL Hair remover from Amazon and it didn’t help at all. Actually somehow I think it made it worse. Does anyone have any advice. I don’t want a full on beard. But it looks like it’s heading that way.
