Can tmj cause eye issues and swelling ?

So I have been having left sided swelling on my face and neck and everyone is trying to blame tmj. My face really doesn’t even hurt that bad it’s more my head and just having a strange feeling in it . I’ll have throbbing pain at times and it’ll get hot around the left side of head . My ear is constantly popping or making noise and I haven’t been able to hear good out of it in months . Could tmj be the cause ? I also have eye swelling as well . I’m on muscle relaxers for tmj also . I just don’t know if I should go to the hospital or not because they all act like it’s tmj they can’t do anything . Or that they see nothing swollen
