Any tips for handling Intelligent Speed Assist on a new Mercedes?

I'm an American who is going to be living in Europe for the foreseeable future, and I'm going to be buying a new car soon, and my understanding is that most, if not all of the new cars sold in Europe now have some form of Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA). That isn't something I've experienced before, and I am looking for input as I prepare to choose a vehicle to buy.

If you currently drive a Mercedes with ISA, do you think the ISA system is good, and would you recommend it? Any tips for using it as someone with no experience with ISA at all?

Do you get any benefits from using ISA in your Mercedes? Do you think it helps you in any way?
