Sleep Deprivation Voices

I can deal with the talkback Pop radio I hear inside and outside of my head, and my brain manipulating the fan blade noise to sound like voices, I know it's all bullshit and I just need to recover.

Last night, I heard something that actually scared me. I heard a young man's voice screaming from what sounded outside of my head, "nothing can protect you!", and I crumbled. I know it was also not real, but it hit a soft spot and though its impossibly not, it felt personal, and I can't stop replaying it in my head. 🥺
