Sharing Relief from Physical therapy!
Sharing in case this can help anyone. I can't believe the relief I've gotten for over a month. I started physical therapy for migraines in December. I was instructed to do 20 Chin tucks (make sure to only go straight back do not put your chin down to the chest or it will increase pain.) 20 tucks every 2 hours. Then they introduced a chin tuck to then tilting head back 25 degrees while supporting your head with open hands hold for a minute. Return to looking straight ahead and then chin tuck, tilt back again 25 degrees hold a minute. These also every 2 hours. Each week we increase the tilt by 10 degrees. This has decreased my 4 migraines a week to only 6 in 6 weeks Also paying extra close attention to good posture. Not doing moves that strain the neck. Also making sure my pillow is the right height to keep head, neck, and sternum all lined up while sleeping. I hope this helps.
