Help! I'm looking for advice to improve my painting.
I’m looking for advice on how to improve my painting. I feel like I’ve hit a wall on my mini painting and I’m not sure what next steps or techniques I should be looking for to improve. Any suggestions are welcome from your own thoughts to YouTube videos you found particularly helpful and so on.
My process thus far is:
- Prime Black
- Zenithal White from above
- Block in colors
- Detail colors
- Heavy Shade then run a makeup sponge along the raised surfaces to clear them back up.
- Add grass to base
- Paint base rim
- Satin Varnish
Most of my paints are Vallejo Base and Layer paints from their Game Color line.
First three models are 3d printed from My Mini Factory and the last is from Games Workshop.
