iPhone 12 Pro Max green screen after earpiece replacement?

Hello, so I have an iPhone 12PM which got its earpiece cable ripped off some time ago. I ordered another earpiece assembly and after I mounted it, the screen turns green, then brown, then black. What happened? Can it be fixed?
