2017 cbr1000rr idle problem

Hi, so some background info my bike has been running great, but all the sudden as I was about to go for a ride I start my bike and the check engine light turns on and my bike is having rpm problems. The rpm’s are supposed to be set at 1250 on startup but will fluctuate from that going far below sometimes turning off or above. I thought maybe it was the cam chain tensioner so I have a replacement but I will be taking it to a shop tomorrow. Curious if anyone has any idea to what could be the problem. 2017 cbr1000rr bike has 14k miles, oil changed regularly (last change was about 800 miles or so ago)
