Who was the “It” actress of the early 2000’s (00-09)?

Every decade has the one star/movie/director/song for each of those categories that embodies and defines the cultural essence of that era more than any other. This is very subjective, but in some cases I think there’s usually an agreed upon consensus. I was thinking which female star was the actress/star of the early 00s and I can’t seem to pinpoint who I’d anoint.

I would say most would agree with this lineup of past eras:

20s: Clara Bow 30s: Greta Garbo 40s: Rita Hayworth 50s Marilyn Monroe 60s: Julie Christie 70s: (probably) Faye Dunaway 80s: Kathleen Turner 90s: Julia Roberts 2010s: Jennifer Lawrence
