Mom experiencing hallucinations

Hey everyone,

Mom is experiencing hallucinations and said that they were men that I bought home last night ( I’m 24) and that they were 3 of them. She was badgering me with questions and remembers each men with vivid details. We tried to tell her it didn’t happen, she didn’t believe it. When I searched online, i saw that “reassure and redirect“ is the best thing to do in these scenarios so I went along with it. Because of that, the conversation shifted to how disgusting I am and what I was doing with them. My mom and I don’t have the best relationship with each other and she was physically and verbally abusive. I moved back in with my parents, and her mom ( my grandmother) is helping out as well. I’m currently unemployed because of how difficult it was to hold a regular job. I’m struggling to handle this.

we are taking her to the hospital in the next few days to understand her hallucinations better and see if there is anything we can do to reduce them. I’m on ssris and anxiety meds. There’s no sleep in the family. Things are hard.
