Bastian as a name in 2022?

I'm not a fan of the full name Sebastian. I do like the rough and tumble nick name of Bash or Ian. I am scared this name is "too different" for America but also enjoy it. Our first pick was Elijah but it's so over used. We also liked Shepherd but again very biblical and sounded like our favorite dog breed.

Middle name would be Kane. Bastian Kane. Meaning: Most honorable warrior.
