Rats got into our move

So we got our boxes in from our move today. One of the boxes had MREs in it, as well as some of my husband's uniforms, about 500+ dollars worth of my clothes, and 200+ in collectibles. Rats got in, and the whole box got infested with mites, and of course rat droppings.

To avoid infesting out condo we had to toss the whole box immediately, but I got pictures of the top (which shows the half eaten MRE as well as rat droppings and mites) and the outside before we tossed it.

My question is, how screwed are when we file our claim that we couldn't pull out each piece of clothing & collectible and get a picture of it being infested with mites?
