How legit is that 2 year deferment?

Long story short, I was prior active duty and have been out for 2 years. In the process of going into the reserves because the wife is pregnant and want tricare. Recruiter told me that my contract has a 2 year deployment deferment, but with everything currently going on in the world was wondering if the government being the government, if they can void that and mobilize me anyway? Appreciate the info in advance
